There are many reasons for kids to become involved
in the martial arts. We have developed a program based on traditional
Taekwondo for kids called Karate for Kids. The Karate for Kids system is
based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills.
The building blocks for our system are life skills such as:
Goals
▪ Perseverance ▪
Self-Control ▪Confidence
▪ Courtesy
Respect ▪ Integrity ▪
Self-Esteem ▪ Attitude
Combined
with our life skills is our unique victory patch program. Kids are
rewarded special "Victory Stars." These different
colored stars are rewarded for outstanding performance in karate class,
school, home or at a tournament competition. |

We offer the Taekwondo for Tiny
Tigers program. The Tiny Tigers program has been developed specifically
for children ages 4 - 6. This program offers children a strong
foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect,
and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve
children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and
follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and
exciting instruction methods available for this age group. This program
works in conjunction with the Karate for Kids program, thereby
emphasizing the same important monthly themes and value system. Just
like in the Karate for Kids program, Tiny Tigers have their own unique
victory patch and "Victory Stars." Stars are earned in the same way as
the Karate for Kids program, with slight modifications in recognition of
the preschool age of the child. |

The key to raising kids with safe habits is educating
them to realistic dangers and teaching them how to respond to them in an appropriate way. "A Confidant, Aware and Prepared child is the greatest defense against abduction."
Strangers on the street aren't they only dangers we need to be aware of, "There's a new stranger and that's the stranger on the internet." |
| The Kidz'n Power Abduction Prevention
Pack contains 3 DVDs, Becoming Aware, Taking Action and Internet Safety,
that both parents and students should watch and discuss together on a regular basis. These DVDs cover material designed
to help families learn safer habits to practice at home, school and with friends. |

In case of emergency having a Child I.D. Kit or Life File on hand can help law enforcement
get necessary information out quickly to help recover your child as quickly as possible. One of these kits is included with
the training but should be updated on a yearly basis. |

The Sergeant Safety Basic Training is an expansion on the original Kidz'N Power Program.
By going through this material in class with Instructors and at home with parents on a regular basis,
students receive the repetition needed to help keep them safe in the real world. |
